Fundraisers at Wise Traditions 2018

Wise Traditions FundraisersPlease join us at the popular annual FundRAISER Reception on November 15, 2018 beginning at 6 p.m. on the eve of the Wise Traditions Conference at the Hilton in Baltimore, Maryland. You do not need to be registered for the conference to attend the Reception.

A huge thanks to our valued food donors who donate most of the food served at the Reception and Breakfasts and make it possible for these events to happen each year (see below). We are also very thankful for the event sponsors, The Weston A. Price Foundation and Green Pasture Products.

FUNDRAISER RECEPTION

Thursday, November 15
6 – 9 p.m.

We invite you to join us on the eve of the 19th Annual Wise Traditions Conference for the Annual Fundraiser Reception to benefit the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) and The Campaign for Real Milk at the Hilton Baltimore Hotel at 401 West Pratt Street in Baltimore, Maryland. Celebrate with us: we’ve been protecting food rights for over 11 years!

Friday    |    7:30 – 9 a.m.
Saturday-Sunday   |    6:45 – 8:15 a.m.

Enjoy a real food breakfast each morning, Friday-Sunday (November 16-18), of the Wise Traditions Conference and find out more about how FTCLDF protects your farmers and food rights.

Here’s the menu for the nutrient-dense breakfasts*:

– To Your Health Sprouted Flour Company Organic, Sprouted and Soaked Oatmeal
– Oatmeal Fixin’s: Really Raw Honey, Organic Maple Syrup, Pleasant Pastures Grassfed Butter
– Miller’s Organic Farm Soy-Free Hormone-Free Pastured Hard-Boiled Eggs
– Fields of Athenry Farm Pastured Breakfast Sausage and White Oak Pastures Breakfast Sausage
– Pleasant Pastures Grassfed Yogurt
– Organic Apples and Grapes

Also, hand-crafted, flavorful and organic bone broth will be available from Fields of Athenry Farm for a $5 suggested donation. Half of the proceeds will be donated to FTCLDF.

Breakfast tickets for adults are $17 each with a three-day breakfast pass for $45 (Friday-Saturday mornings).

CONFERENCE INFO

Consider attending the entire Wise Traditions Conference with a full array of speakers, nutrient-dense meals, and even a children’s program! This year, the theme is Nurturing Therapies for Chronic Disease & Transforming Our Health. The conference runs Friday through Sunday with special workshops and events on Monday, including an enjoyable farm tour of Sally Fallon Morell’s P.A. Bowen Farmstead, led by Will Winter, a holistic herd heath consultant and lively host. You can attend the full conference or choose your day(s) and which meals to partake. CANCELLATION POLICY

Life happens, we know! If you need to cancel your Reception registration, submit your cancellation in writing by November 1, 2018 to be eligible for a refund less a $10.00 administration fee. After November 1, 2018, no refunds are possible. If you need to cancel after November 1, we encourage you to send a substitute in your place. Substitutions are always welcome.

LIABILITY/PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEO WAIVER

By registering and attending Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund events, you agree and acknowledge that you are participating in the events and activities of your own free and intentional will. You acknowledge this freely and knowingly and that you are, as a result, able to participate in said events and hereby assume responsibility for your own well-being. This acknowledgement includes your guest’s participation in the events.

The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund plans to take photographs during the 2018 events and reproduce them in educational, news, or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund website. By participating in the event, you grant the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund the right to use your name and photograph for such purposes. All postings are property of the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund.
