Congresswoman Chellie Pingree will sponsor a Congressional screening of the movie Farmageddon, for Representatives, Senators and their staffers so they may see the devastating effects regulatory policies are having on small American farms.

Please invite your Representative, Senators and their staff to the screening.

 

Steps: 

1. Call your Congressional offices and ask for the scheduler; get the scheduler's contact information.   

 

You may call the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 or go online to find your U.S. Senators (www.senate.gov) and your U.S. Representative (www.house.gov). 

  

2. Fax or email (fax is best) the schedulers with the invitation below for your legislators.  Please include any personal notes about why you want them to see the movie.  Be sure to include your address; they need to know you are a constituent.

 

3. Follow-up with a phone call to make sure they received the invitation and ask if they will attend.

Several of the farmers and activists featured in the movie will be present to answer questions as well. 

This movie graphically illustrates the devastating consequences of regulatory policy that American farmers face.  As your constituent, I ask you to attend and learn about these issues.
