UPDATE: The Joint Commission on Administrative Rules voted unanimously on Thursday, September 11, to consent to suspend the effective date of the scrapie regulations for goats and sheep until after the 2009 General Assembly Session.  The Governor must concur for the suspension to happen.

ACTION:  PLEASE EMAIL AND CALL THE GOVERNOR IMMEDIATELY AND ASK HIM TO: “Please concur with the Joint Commission’s decision to suspend 2VAC5-206, Regulations for Scrapie Eradication.”

IMPORTANT:  You must email or phone the Governor by MONDAY, September 15, so he can receive your communication in time to act before his deadline this week.
