National Raw Milk Freedom Action Day - May 6

Please Ask Your U.S. Representative to Co-Sponsor HR 4307 & 4308

Congressman Massie (R-KY), Chellie Pingree (D-ME) and a bipartisan coalition introduced these bills to improve consumer food choices and to protect local farmers from federal interference.

HR 4307 would completely repeal the ban on raw milk for human consumption and allow shipment of raw milk for human consumption in interstate traffic between any two states. Is your legislator a cosponsor yet? Click here.

HR 4308 would allow shipment of raw milk between any two states where sale or distribution is already legal. Is your legislator a cosponsor yet?

Call and ask your U.S. Representative to cosponsor these two bills.

Call and ask your U.S. Representative to cosponsor the "Milk Freedom Act of 2014" (HR 4307) and the "Interstate Milk Freedom Act of 2014" (HR 4308).

Talking Points:

  • These bills honor consumer freedom of choice.
  • The FDA should stop wasting taxpayer dollars pursuing small scale raw milk producers and instead should concentrate on imported food and food produced out of the industrial system, where most of the food safety problems lie.
  • The federal ban is an unjust, unworkable law. Thousands of otherwise law-abiding citizens currently rely on out-of-state sources for raw milk.
Is your U.S. Representative already a cosponsor on both bills?

Find out here: HR 4307 or HR 4308.

If so, take a moment to call and say, "Thanks!"
